The Saudi Water Authority (SWA, formerly SWCC) is Saudi Arabia's leading water desalination and power provider. It runs 30 plants, 14 transmission systems, and 4,000 km of pipelines with a workforce of more than 10,000. SWA is the world's largest seawater desalination operation and the second-largest electricity provider in Saudi Arabia, producing 12% of the country's electricity and 20% of the world's desalinated water.
The Challenge: Connecting a Dispersed National Utility Securely
In a utility where precision and real-time response matter, staff across departments need to stay connected, whether they are coordinating maintenance, responding to operational issues, or sharing what they have learned.
