About the National FFA Organization

The National FFA (Future Farmers of America) Organization was founded in 1938 to develop future agricultural leaders. Over time, it has grown into a nationwide youth organization supporting diverse career pathways—from agriculture and science to education and business.

With more than a million members across thousands of chapters in all U.S. states and territories, FFA serves middle school and high school students, educators, alumni, and industry partners through programs focused on leadership, career readiness, and agricultural education.

Customer Challenges

As a career and technical student organization with a geographically distributed membership, FFA needed a reliable way to reach students and educators with educational resources and live events. Their existing approach created several pressing challenges:

  • Public video platforms were frequently blocked in schools
FFA had relied on public sites such as YouTube and Vimeo, but many school districts restrict access to these platforms. This limited student access to educational content during class.

  • A growing need for organized educational media
As the content library expanded—covering agricultural education, leadership development, workshops, convention highlights, and alumni stories—FFA needed a structured video system where users could easily search, browse by category, and find relevant materials quickly.

  • Historical content needed digitization and long-term preservation
Approaching its centennial milestone, FFA aimed to digitize reel-to-reel tapes and other physical media to preserve organizational history and make it available to new generations. This required secure, scalable storage for large volumes of digital footage.

  • Offline access for educators
Because classroom connectivity varies widely, teachers needed a way to download videos for offline use without compromising content quality or accessibility.

  • Existing tools didn’t support high-production live events at scale
FFA hosts major conferences and events that needed reliable live streaming for internal members and external audiences. Their prior tools weren’t built to consistently deliver high-quality streams to a dispersed national audience.

FFA needed a single platform that could solve school accessibility issues, support large-scale media management, enable live events, and preserve historical content—without increasing complexity for educators and students.

Solution

FFA selected VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube, an enterprise video content management platform designed to securely store, organize, and distribute video at scale.

EnterpriseTube provided FFA with a centralized library where content could be uploaded, categorized, and shared through a school-accessible viewing experience—helping students and educators access resources regardless of district restrictions.

How FFA Used EnterpriseTube

Centralized educational video library

  • FFA uploaded and organized educational resources and event recordings in one secure repository.

  • Content was arranged by categories and topics, enabling fast discovery for teachers, students, and members.

School-friendly video access and offline use

  • Videos could be embedded on FFA’s website and other external platforms, ensuring students could watch within approved environments.

  • Teachers were able to download select content for offline classroom viewing, keeping instruction consistent despite connectivity limitations.

Reliable live streaming for national events

  • EnterpriseTube’s live streaming capabilities allowed FFA to broadcast high-production conferences and events to both internal members and public audiences.

  • The platform supported consistent delivery to a large, distributed viewer base.

Historical media preservation

  • FFA stored and managed digitized footage from physical archives in the same platform used for current learning resources.

  • This ensured long-term preservation while making legacy content searchable and accessible to future members.

Accessibility at scale

  • Automatic transcription and closed captioning helped expand access for a diverse national audience, including students with varied learning needs and hearing accessibility requirements.

Impact in a Nutshell

  • Organized the company’s vast amount of video content in a searchable library with easy navigation based on categories and topics.
  • Streamlined the process of live streaming events to a large, geographically dispersed audience.
  • Enabled easy sharing of videos, including embedding them on the organization’s website and downloading them for offline use in classrooms without internet connectivity.
  • Helped preserve digitized historical content to make it accessible to future generations in a centralized library.
