Customer Challenges
As a global law firm with a network of over 2,500 legal professionals, White & Case needed to ensure its attorneys were equipped with the latest legal knowledge to serve its diverse client base. The challenge came when the firm needed to securely store and share a growing number of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) videos and other media internally and externally.
The firm required a media library that could securely store and manage content, categorize it by department, efficiently search for it, and embed it on SharePoint and other platforms. It also needed detailed analytics to track how training and learning materials were consumed. In addition to distributing training materials, White & Case also needed to store sensitive materials on-site for legal and regulatory purposes. This was a challenge given their current platform provided limited support for on-premises deployment.
This led White & Case to seek out a platform with YouTube-like functionalities with the option to deploy on-premises and in the cloud. But, it needed to do all that while allowing the secure embedding of media on SharePoint as well as extensive analytics for details on the consumption of that content. The biggest challenge was finding a consolidated platform that could do all this in one place. The firm wanted to avoid the inefficiencies and security risks that came with using a patchwork of fragmented systems.
Solution
VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube, an industry-recognized enterprise video streaming platform, rose to the challenges that White & Case faced. It provided a user-friendly platform with a YouTube-like interface, allowing employees to navigate it easily with a low learning curve. Security was a top priority for White & Case, and they needed some way to secure access to their portals. VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube addressed these concerns by offering an encrypted platform with security features such as SSO (Single Sign-On), Role-Based Access Control, IP and domain restrictions, multifactor authentication, custom security policies, automatic login timeout, audit logs, and more. These measures ensured that sensitive legal information remained protected and accessible only to authorized individuals. It also allowed White & Case to share files with its global clientele without compromising security. What’s more, they could also securely embed media on SharePoint and their LMS platform.
Besides ticking off all the right boxes, EnterpriseTube offered additional features that enhanced the value of White & Case’s CLE program.
