The Challenge: One Secure Home for a Growing CLE Library
With more than 2,500 legal professionals, White & Case had to keep its attorneys current, which meant securely storing and sharing a growing library of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) videos and other media, both internally and with clients.
The firm wanted a media library that could store and manage content securely, categorize it by department, let people search it quickly, and embed it on SharePoint and other platforms, with detailed analytics on how the material was consumed. It also had to store sensitive material on-site for legal and regulatory reasons, which its existing platform barely supported. Above all, White & Case wanted one consolidated platform to do all of this, rather than a patchwork of fragmented systems and the inefficiency and security risk that brings.
The Solution: A Consolidated, Secure Hybrid Platform
White & Case chose VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube, which offered a familiar, YouTube-like interface with a low learning curve. The firm built a knowledge base of training videos organized into playlists, collections, and categories, and separated into department portals by area of legal practice. VIDIZMO deployed a hybrid setup, on-premise plus a separate cloud media portal, and helped migrate around 9,000 videos from the firm's existing platform.
Security was a priority, so EnterpriseTube provided an encrypted platform with single sign-on, role-based access control, IP and domain restrictions, multifactor authentication, custom security policies, automatic login timeout, and audit logs, keeping sensitive legal information accessible only to authorized people. White & Case could share files securely with clients worldwide and embed media safely on SharePoint and its LMS. On top of that, AI-powered search, automated transcription, and in-video quizzes, surveys, and handouts rounded out the CLE experience for its attorneys.
