How does VIDIZMO malware scanning work?
All externally added files undergo Windows Defender–based signature and heuristic scanning on upload or ingest before any processing begins.
What happens if a file is infected?
Infected or failed-scan files are automatically quarantined and moved to the Infected Files section for review and actions like rescan, force-publish, or delete.
Are all file types scanned?
Only externally added files are scanned based on configured file-type rules. System‑generated files (renditions, captions, metadata) are exempt.
Can malware scans be triggered manually?
Yes, you can use on‑demand scanning via Custom Upload, the Process modal, or bulk processing to manually trigger malware scans.
Which malware scanning provider does VIDIZMO use?
VIDIZMO currently uses Microsoft Windows Defender as the scanning provider.
