However, Campari's legacy isn't just about selling spirits—it's about cultivating a community, which it does by supporting and empowering bartenders worldwide.

Challenges

With a portfolio of beloved drinks, Campari takes pride in fostering a global community of mixologists, bartenders, and sales professionals. Their dedication to the craft of bartending and customer experiences makes ongoing education crucial. To support these efforts, the brand had its own educational program called Campari Academy to educate and inform bartenders, mixologists, and enthusiasts around the world with materials that focused on discussions, social missions, and industry trends. However, they faced challenges in effectively executing their digital strategy. They needed to cater to a diverse audience of 3,000 external bartenders and an internal sales team with a solution that could organize videos into structured courses and support existing SCORM content.

The brand required a platform capable of hosting live events, digital courses, and interactive community videos with advanced search features to find specific content. Additionally, the lack of real-time engagement through comments or chat limited the effectiveness of their training. Campari also needed to reach a global audience with multilingual support, track user activities for insights on video engagement and learning effectiveness, and integrate their LMS to streamline workflows. Lastly, ensuring legal compliance was essential, as they needed a way to verify users' drinking age and redirect those under 21 to an appropriate platform.

Solution

After exploring various options, Campari chose VIDIZMO's EnterpriseTube as their all-in-one solution to address these challenges. VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube provided Campari with the ability to create two separate portals: one for bartenders and another for sales staff. This allowed the company to engage different audiences while ensuring streamlined operations. Minors attempting to access the portal were redirected to the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility, while legal users were given access. Campari seamlessly connected its internal portal to their existing active directory using VIDIZMO's SSO integration with Facebook and Active Directory. This helped them maintain a secure, user-friendly experience for employees without compromising on accessibility.

Branding was a big concern for Campari. Luckily, VIDIZMO pulled through by providing customized branding through logos, fonts, colors, and CSS styling, which gave Campari a cohesive brand presence across both portals. One of the standout features for Campari was the ability to track video engagement metrics. VIDIZMO allowed them to monitor who watched the videos, for how long, and which drink video was the most popular. This level of detailed analytics enabled Campari to create automated user journeys, tailoring their content based on user preferences and behavior.
