An education service agency was looking for a centralized repository to host educations videos for its network of 22 district schools. The agency could use a Learning Management System (LMS) to fulfill this purpose, but there were limitations, so the agency turned to VIDIZMO for a video content management system to host their educational videos.
Built on Azure products, VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube allows videos to be readily played on any browser or device providing students with the flexibility to access content from home or school. Additionally, VIDIZMO provided the agency with automatic AI transcription for every video, thereby enabling the agency to fulfill regulatory requirements. Organizations of videos according to subjects and topics, in video quizzes and documents, and discussion under videos further enhanced the learning process for students.
The agency wanted a centralized repository where they could store educational videos and these videos could be accessed by the 22 different schools that were operated by the agency. Using a traditional LMS had limitations for the agency as these LMS aren’t optimized for video playback. In an LMS, students would have to download videos before watching them.
Moreover, transcription had to be done manually, which was a requirement for regulatory compliance.
VIDIZMO solved these challenges by offering EnterpriseTube, which allowed students from 22 different schools to access videos in a centralized platform. These videos could be readily played on any browser or device. The different educational videos were classified into topics, courses and collections.
Additionally, VIDIZMO saved time and resources for the agency by automatically transcribing education videos and making them available as closed captions.
In-video quizzes, additional handouts and the option to comment under videos further enhanced the learning process.
